Problem Solving: Assisted the Legal Department with an insider training issue. Designed system which helped save a department save money (between $25,000 - $30,000/year in paper waste) and work time (cut time down from 8 hours to 1 hour). Managed an update of one COBOL/JCL system for the accounting department. This system was redesigned to scrub data from several reports and dump the data to an Excel spreadsheet. This saved the department employee hours by cutting down the time from 6-8 hours down to 30 minutes. Helped Accounting Department to stop printing broker checks after brokers have left company. Saved company over $1,000,000 in unclaimed commissions.
