My name is Lekeysha Byrd I am currently a Social Emotional Counselor at Way Academy. I am a graduate from Michigan State University with Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Community Governance & Advocacywith multiple courses in early childhood education, and communications. I have a strong background as a Foster Care Specialist for the State of Michigan. I am a certified Crisis Intervention Counselor and have been since 7/2022. I also have 5yrs Supervisor experience, 10yrs Administrative experience, 2yrs youth development/monitoring, 3yrs in the healthcare field, 3yrs Recruiting/HR assisting experience, and 3yrs focusing on reunification of families, counseling, proving resources, court hearings and offering support.Furthermore, I am a certified Traveling Notary in the State of Michigan seeking to work with companies to make things easier for their clients. I am seeking a position that will help me enhance my professional abilities and allow me to help others as a focus.

I believe I possess the skills necessary for this position. I am a very determined person with a lot of motivation. Ahard worker is what is needed to best fulfill this position,and I am that and more. I am a dedicated, organized, loyal, and eager worker. Communication is my strong point and, you must know how to communicate well with others. I have a passion for helping and would love to be on your team.
