Education
Graduate with honors, with a degree in Studio Art, Painting/Illustration concentration. As a member of the Honors Program, I encouraged autonomous and collaborative work between members, as well as communicated and worked consistently with professional artists, faculty, and graduate art students. I was also able to plan, curate, and install a cohesive show of original work, along with having coordinated, advertised, installed, and participated in art auctions, galas, and fundraisers. Met with colleagues once a week to partake in creativity and conflict resolution exercises.

As a Gallery Monitor for the Newark Arts Alliance, it was my responsibility to process shop and membership transactions, handle money, and keep book. I provided excellent customer service and made certain the customer's needs were met. I also trained and oversaw new volunteers on customer service procedures and daily housekeeping; set up, cleaning of the gallery, and closing the gallery and shop with efficiently. Kept inventory, maintained organization, and safety of works that came in and out of the gallery. I would often communicate the business information and involvement opportunities to the customer and answer inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
As a freelance artist, I have experience in responsibly pricing work according to size, content, and materials.
I have negotiated details of commissioned pieces and communicated process updates and time estimates with customers, and have produced quality content for customers in a timely manner.
