As a Resident Assistant at Missouri State University, I fostered a safe, inclusive, and supportive community for forty residents by planning and leading educational, social, and cultural programs. I served as a peer mentor, providing guidance, resources, and conflict resolution to promote residents’ personal and academic growth. I enforced university policies fairly, responded to emergencies, and completed administrative tasks such as incident reports and program evaluations. Through collaboration with fellow RAs and residence hall staff, I modeled positive behavior, encouraged community engagement, and helped create an environment where all residents felt valued and supported.

I interned for a company that aims to stop human trafficking in Kansas City.
